Looking Back at a Year of Steady Progress and Global Engagement
2025 has been a year of steady execution and measured progress for Commodities Intelligence Centre (CIC). Against an increasingly complex global trade backdrop, our focus remained on strengthening core capabilities, expanding our international reach, and reinforcing the foundations that support long-term and responsible growth.
Throughout the year, CIC continued to advance its data intelligence services, digital platforms, workplace practices, and community engagement. Together, these efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting reliable and efficient cross-border trade, while strengthening our role as a trusted partner within the global trade ecosystem.
In 2025, CIC received several industry recognitions that reflected both continuity and progress. We were once again recognised for our contribution to international business expansion, marking a returning acknowledgement of our growing global presence in advancing digital trade intelligence.
Key recognitions during the year included:
• Global Expansion Industry Recognition (2025)
A testament to CIC’s growing global footprint and our role in helping businesses expand into international markets through trusted trade data and digital solutions.
• Best Market Intelligence & Research Consultancy - Singapore (2025)

• Client Service Excellence Award (2025)

• Singapore Tripartite Framework Recognition

Collectively, these recognitions reaffirm the trust placed in CIC by clients, partners, and institutions across different markets.
2. Projects & Digital Development
Throughout 2025, CIC’s data infrastructure and digital capabilities supported a broader range of commercial and operational use cases across the trade ecosystem. Our databases and analytical tools were applied across internal initiatives and selected partner-related projects, enabling CIC to serve more users and deepen engagement across regions.
At the core of CIC’s digital offering is TradeData.Pro, a trade intelligence platform designed to support enterprises with structured trade data, market insights and analytical tools. In 2025, TradeData.Pro expanded its reach beyond Asia into additional global markets, while maintaining a strong focus on serving Singapore-based clients. Platform development during the year prioritised system stability and analytical depth, with enhancements to data coverage, reporting capabilities, and efficiency laying the groundwork for further analytical and AI-assisted enhancements in the year ahead.
In parallel, CIC provided data and analytical support to initiatives associated with ZMA Smart Capital (ZMA), particularly in areas related to trade assessment and market visibility. As publicly announced, ZMA entered into a strategic commercial cooperation with Marubeni Corporation in 2025 to support trade financing and supply chain-related initiatives. Within this context, CIC’s role focused on providing trade data references, market insights, and analytical inputs to support assessment and decision-making processes.
Together, these developments reflect CIC’s emphasis on building reliable digital foundations and practical intelligence capabilities that support enterprises operating across complex cross-border environments.
3. People, Workplace & Community
People remained central to CIC’s progress in 2025. We continued strengthening teams across operations and platform support, while reinforcing structured performance processes and cross-team collaboration to support organisational resilience and consistency.
Our ongoing recognition under Singapore’s tripartite framework reflects CIC’s commitment to fair employment, responsible governance, and a supportive workplace culture.
Beyond the workplace, CIC remained mindful of its social responsibilities and participated in community initiatives supporting seniors and groups in need. These efforts, together with internal team-building activities, strengthened collaboration and reinforced a shared sense of purpose across the organisation.

As CIC enters FY2026, our priorities remain focused and deliberate. We will continue enhancing service reliability, expanding analytical capabilities, and supporting enterprises operating across borders with greater clarity and confidence.
CIC will also review and strengthen its internal legal and compliance frameworks to ensure service governance continues to protect user interests and remains aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.
